The ACT festival it is not just a space of contest where the pieces opt to take part in other festivals and can achieve cash prizes. It is also a place of meeting, a showcase of new works, of interchange of experiences and of promotion towards the professional interrelationship between the artists.

It is for this reason that inside the frame of the festival every year there are works of Schools of Performing Arts, or professional companies, where the parameters of duration of the pieces are not the same that those once that go to contest.

This way, in alternative spaces, in the opening and in the closing of the festival we exhibit works that for their quality and value we believe deserve to be part of the ACT.
