ACT Festival 2010 will take place from 1st to 5th of June in Bilbao and Barakaldo. One week after ReACT will take place in Basauri, showing a small resume of the best bits of ACT 2010.

ACT Festival offers a program of 4 sections in which we will see international works to exhibition and to contest. In this moment we are closing details but immediately we will inform you about the programming of this ACT's seventh edition 2010.

LABURRACT, New Makers Short Piece Contest.
In this seventh edition the contest of short pieces is consolidated once again as one of the strong sections of the festival. In five days of festival, 18 short pieces will be performed  in different spaces. The winner piece will obtain the Prize ACT - Arriaga consisting of 3.000 € and two paid performances in the new programming of the Venue Arriaga-bbk.

Exhibition of works of International Schools.
Different centers of Performing Arts will show their last year works as in past editions.

IYME, international young maker’s Exchange.
The center BAI and ACT Festival together with other European festivals of theatre and dance choose a production that will represent them around Europe. All the festival’s representative pieces together will form a section in itself.

DANTZINE, exhibition and contest of Video Dances. In this seventh edition we continue with this section dedicated to the video creation, with that we want to invite video creators of the world of the cinema and of the dance and theatre to show their works in our festival. As in the short pieces section, the winner piece will obtain a prize of 1.500 €.
